And it started with a big “booty”. 2,000 liters of counterfeit prepared for bottling were seized at once. Police believe it was even intended for hotels.
The details are as follows – 2,000 liters of counterfeit alcohol were found in a truck stopped by the resort police. Earlier, law enforcement officers, the provincial police department for combating smuggling and organized crime, received information that counterfeit alcohol will be delivered to the resort, which is expected to be delivered even at the hotel.
Police stopped the truck on the D-650 highway in the Doshemealti area of Chubukli Mahallesi and seized 2,000 liters of counterfeit alcohol during a search. The driver was detained. The source of the forgery is being clarified.
It will be recalled that police raids to search for counterfeits in recent years have become a reality of the high season. In the context of the financial crisis, expensive imported alcoholic beverages are periodically replaced by counterfeit products of unknown quality, often simply life-threatening.
