The day before, the world’s largest cruise ship, Icon of the Seas, built in Turku, Finland for Royal Caribbean, set off on its first commercial voyage — from Miami to the Bahamas. She is the flagship project in the series, with the second ship, Star of the Seas, due for delivery in 2025.
The length of the vessel is 364 m, 2 m longer than Wonder of the Seas, the largest ship in the Oasis series, which entered service in 2022. Icon of the Seas has a crew of 2,350 and a capacity of 5,610 passengers at double occupancy or 7,600 passengers at maximum capacity.
Tourists have at their disposal seven swimming pools, six water slides, a 17-meter waterfall, an infinity pool (the first equipped on a ship), water parks, restaurants, cafes, etc.
Many cabins for spring dates have already been sold out. We offer week-long tours of the Caribbean with visits to Mexico, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Haiti, and the Bahamas. Prices are serious — from 3,244 to 14,205 dollars per person.
