The famous travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler, based on reviews from readers and experts, has compiled a list of the most beautiful places on the planet. It includes beaches, mountains, glaciers, national parks, and waterfalls.
The Amazon (Brazil, Argentina) leads with its vast tropical forests, home to thousands of species of plants, animals, and birds.
Angel Falls in Venezuela, the highest in the world, takes second place in the ranking. In third place is Antarctica with its stunningly diverse landscapes.
The top five are completed by the Arashiyama bamboo grove (Japan) and the Atacama Desert in Chile.
The TOP 10 also includes the Avenue of the Baobabs (Madagascar), the Azores in Portugal, the Canadian Banff National Park, Boulders Beach in South Africa, and Cameron Highlands in Malaysia.
The ranking, which has 51 lines, also includes Cappadocia and Pamukkale in Turkey, the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia, the Irish Cliffs of Moher, the chalk cliffs of Etretat in France, Finnish Lapland, the Great Barrier Reef (Australia), Greenland, Halong Bay in Vietnam, and Lake Bled (Slovenia) and Como (Italy), as well as many other beautiful places.
