According to the international consulting company Henley & Partners, which ranks the most powerful passports in the world every six months, the leader has changed in the next list – Japan, whose passport held this position for five years.
Now Singapore’s passport leads the ranking: Singaporeans can visit 193 countries of the world without visas (out of 227 analyzed). The second place belongs to three countries at once – Germany, Italy, and Spain: citizens of these states can visit 190 countries without visas. Japan was in third place, the holders of its passports, as well as representatives of six other countries (Austria, Finland, France, Luxembourg, South Korea, and Sweden), have the right to enter 189 states without visa formalities.
Ukraine took the 30th place in this rating, our compatriots can travel to 146 countries without a visa.
The outsider in the TOP-100 was Pakistan (33 visa-free countries), while Somalia and Yemen took 99th place (35 visa-free countries).
