An aircraft of the South American airline LATAM Airlines suffered an engine failure mid-flight. There were passengers on board, AviationSource News reports.
On January 21, a LATAM Airlines flight en route to Miami from Lima was forced to divert and land in Chiclayo, Peru due to engine problems.
The plane landed without incident. Emergency services met the aircraft. It is noted that after landing, passengers were kept on board the liner for at least four hours.
