Now, from February 1, Indonesia has reduced the quarantine period for vaccinated tourists. It decreased from seven to five days. Officially – due to the shorter period of infection with “omicron”.

According to Bloomberg, the coordinator of measures to control the spread of coronavirus infection in Java and Bali Luhut Binsar, it will be only about vaccinated travelers. From February 4, the country will reduce the quarantine period to five days from seven for fully vaccinated foreigners, added Luhut Panjitan, a cabinet member who is also in charge of the government’s response to the pandemic. However, those with only one vaccination from Covid-19 should continue to follow a seven-day quarantine.

“The easing extends, in particular, to the popular island of Bali – in February, the resort begins a new phase of resumption of international tourism,” – added Binsar. Note that Indonesia tried to open several times, but due to new strains, all these attempts were unsuccessful. In 2021, Bali received only 43 foreign tourists.
