Rome now has one more attraction, with the supposed site of Julius Caesar’s assassination officially reopened to visitors on Tuesday.
Historians say that Caesar died in the central square of the city of Largo Argentina. There were four temples there. Only ruins remain of them. Yes, and they are below street level.
Until recently, tourists could see them only from a height. But now they can come closer. The attraction was developed by the Italian fashion house Bulgari under the supervision of the Roman Cultural Heritage Authority.
