The list of cities that are most often photographed by tourists and posted on Instagram – was presented by researchers from The Bucket List Company. They looked at which cities tourists most often mark with hashtags on this social network. As a result, the cities whose species are the most common on the social network were identified.
In the first place, however, was London – researchers have recorded more than 157 million photographs depicting and marking the city. Even Paris lost to the British capital – it won only 136 million mentions. In third place is Turkish Istanbul, its share of fame – 125 million hashtags.
Dubai and Los Angeles were also in the top five. The first has more than 120 million mentions, and the second – is 79 million.
