The PCT will try to achieve the introduction of armor for some specialists in the tourism industry, for which it wants to appeal to the authorities regarding the postponement of mobilization for workers in the tourism industry. Acting President of the Russian Union of the Tourism Industry Ilya Umansky, CEO of the Alean tour operator, made this statement.
According to him, some specialists employed in the tourism industry should be given a postponement of the draft for partial mobilization. The reason is the “urgent” task of maintaining staff, as well as the health and safety of tourists.
“Together with the companies involved in the tourism industry, we are forming a list of specialists who must be retained. These are chefs, employees of engineering services, avalanche safety specialists who work at ski resorts, captains, and employees of cruise companies,” said Ilya Umanskyi. According to him, representatives of the tourism market will contact Rostourism and the government in the near future. “We hope that we will be able to provide these people with armor against the draft,” the expert added.
