Cuba lifts coronavirus restrictions for all tourists

Cuban authorities have canceled vaccination certificates and test certificates for all categories of tourists. Previously, sanitary indulgences applied only to package tourists who purchased a tour from one of the tour operators.

The Cuban Ministry of Health took this step due to the improvement in the epidemiological situation, as well as the high level of vaccination of the country’s population.

At the end of January, vaccination certificates and PCR tests for organized travelers were canceled, and from April 6, tests and certificates are no longer needed for all tourists.

Some requirements remain – for example, arrivals may be asked to undergo random testing. In addition, nothing is said about the cancellation of the D’Viajeros electronic questionnaire filled out before departure, this requirement also remains in force.
