Of the 45 million tourists who came to Turkey from January to September this year, these two cities received a total of 25 million. Of these, 13 million were in Istanbul and 12 million in Antalya. In this way, Istanbul is ahead of Antalya.
The exact numbers are as follows: in January-September 2023, the number of tourists who arrived in Antalya from abroad increased by 31.49% compared to the same period last year, reaching 12,349,268, and the number of tourists who came to Istanbul for the same period, increased by 33.55%, reaching 13,156,209 people.
