An unexpected act of a plane passenger disrupted the flight: video

Outraged passengers are stranded in Tenerife after easyJet canceled a flight to London because of a tourist who “defecated on the toilet floor”, reports the Daily Mail.

Videos circulating online showed pieces of toilet paper all over the plane’s walkway. In one of the videos, the pilot announced the cancellation of the flight.

“It’s kind of fun defecating in the front toilet, so now we’ll stay here for the night. Now we’ll let everyone out and spend the night in a hotel, and tomorrow morning we’ll fly back,” the pilot says in the recording.

Flight EZY8054, which was scheduled to depart at 20:05 on Sunday and arrive in the British capital at 00:20, was delayed for several hours before it was finally cancelled.

Airline officials later said they were unable to find hotel rooms for all travelers due to extremely high demand and were forced to resolve the accommodations problem themselves.

Outraged airline customers left negative reviews on social networks.

“It’s great of EasyJet to delay a flight for 3.5 hours without any communication and then cancel it altogether because someone was ****ing on the toilet floor,” “How can you leave people sitting on a plane for hours, and then tell them the flight is cancelled, in the middle of the night in another country?”, “Your customer care is terrible. Hundreds of passengers are stuck in an airport terminal! Do something!” – tourists complained.

“We have provided all clients with hotel accommodation, but due to the limited number of rooms available in the area, we have also advised clients who booked accommodation themselves that they will be refunded.

The safety and well-being of our clients and crew is our top priority. Despite circumstances beyond our control, we would like to apologize to our customers for any inconvenience this has caused,” an easyJet spokesperson said.
