The founder of SpaceX, who previously called on humanity to colonize Mars, warned that in the future all life on our planet will be destroyed. Responding to a tweet about a possible “mass extinction crisis” on Earth, technology billionaire Elon Musk explained how people can avoid this fate.
“There is a 100% chance that all species will die out due to the rising energy of the Sun if humanity does not make life multiplanetary,” he wrote.

However, some social media users were quick to point out that the astronomical phenomenon Musk was talking about is expected in about a billion years.
Earlier, Musk called for “giving humanity the opportunity to become a space civilization” and even proposed the use of nuclear weapons to terraform Mars.
