“When the regime of Vladimir Putin falls, all Kremlin propagandists should be brought to justice,” says Russian lawyer Ilya Novikov in an interview with Polish Radio. The lawyer who defended the oppositionists and the Memorial association emphasizes that the propagandists bear the same responsibility for the actions of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine as the Kremlin politicians.
Ilya Novikov recalled that Russian law prohibits wars and provides for severe penalties for those who make or support such decisions.
Will those responsible for propaganda face trial?
– After the fall of the regime of Vladimir Putin, all those people who were propagandists can face trial in Russia. I am absolutely convinced that the perpetrators of this aggression will be convicted by the Russian court on the basis of the same laws that they apply today against their opponents, the Russian lawyer emphasized.
Russian independent media have noted that the propaganda activities of people loyal to the Kremlin are becoming increasingly aggressive, chaotic and frustrating.
