Zelensky made a live video address to thousands of protesters against the war in Ukraine, who gathered in the Swiss city of Bern. “Your banks have the money of the people who started this war. Help fight it. Freeze their money – it would be good to deprive them of these privileges,” he said.
Zelensky is sitting at the table in a camouflage T-shirt with short sleeves. His language was spoken in German. When he called for the oligarchs’ accounts to be blocked, there was loud applause.
The Ukrainian president has criticized the Swiss multinational food conglomerate Nestle, which does not currently intend to leave Russia, unlike many other international companies.
