Ukraine has rejected Moscow’s accusations of shelling two Russian border villages

Ukraine today rejected Moscow’s claims that Ukrainian troops fired on two Russian border villages and accused Russia of planning terrorist attacks in the border region to incite anti-Ukrainian hysteria in Russia, AFP reported, citing a statement by the National Security Council of Ukraine and the Ukrainian military.

According to them, “enemy special forces have begun implementing a plan to carry out terrorist attacks to incite anti-Ukrainian hysteria in Russia.”

Earlier today, the governors of Russian regions and the Investigative Committee of Russia accused Ukrainian troops of shelling two villages, one in Bryansk and one in Belgorod region, as well as shelling the border crossing, according to Agence France-Presse. As a result of the shelling of a village in the Bryansk region, according to reports, 8 people were injured, reports TASS with reference to BTA.
