Ukraine and Israel have agreed on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates

On August 9, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (CDTO) Dmytro Senik received copies of his credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported.

The parties noted the high level of cooperation between Ukraine and Israel and discussed prospects for intensifying Ukrainian-Israeli political dialogue, exchange of high-level and top-level visits, as well as preparation and holding of regular meetings of bilateral bodies, including the Ukrainian-Israeli Joint Trade and Economic Cooperation Commission.

The interlocutors paid special attention to the issue of counteracting the COVID-19 pandemic, Ukrainian-Israeli cooperation in this area, in particular, the issue of mutual recognition of vaccination certificates. “Reaching an agreement between Ukraine and Israel on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates from COVID-19 will stimulate tourist contacts between our countries,” said Dmytro Senik.
