Russia and Ukraine may hold a summit in a week or two, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu was quoted as saying by TRT Haber.
“Kuleba and Lavrov (Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Russia Dmytro Kuleba and Serhiy Lavrov – ed.) Said they were ready to meet, in a week or two a meeting could take place, at least at the level of foreign ministers,” Cavusoglu said.
Talks between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations in response to the Turkish diplomatic initiative took place in Istanbul on Tuesday, and a meeting of foreign ministers of the two warring countries took place on March 10 on the sidelines of a diplomatic forum in Antalya.
