Russian troops have begun withdrawing troops from the Sumy region in eastern Ukraine, regional administration head Dmytro Zhyvitsky said tonight, Ukrinform reports.

Russian military equipment is being dragged along the corridor from Kyiv and Chernigov back to Russia.
