Russia has complained to Turkey in connection with the sale of Bayraktar TB2 drones to Ukraine, a senior representative of the Turkish administration said, BTA reports.
However, the official noted that the sale was made by a private Turkish company and was not an intergovernmental agreement.
“Russians are upset and from time to time complain about the sale of drones. They have complained before and are complaining now,” said a spokesman for the administration.
“But we have already answered … that these are private companies, and, in addition, these purchases of drones were made before the war,” he said.
