Moscow has announced that it will sharply limit its military action on two fronts in Ukraine – Kyiv and Chernihiv. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense on its official Telegram channel.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, some units of the Russian army are being withdrawn from the outskirts of Kyiv and the northern city of Chernihiv.
“The Russian army has not achieved the goals of the offensive operation,” according to a statement on their official Facebook page. But they warn of a high risk of shelling and attacks by Russian troops on military and civilian infrastructure.
According to Kyiv, the Russian army is having difficulty regrouping and rotating soldiers due to the refusal of Russian soldiers to take part in the so-called “special operation” and cannot even, according to the Ukrainian army, “form a battalion.”
