Two Ukrainian negotiators with Russia and Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich have developed symptoms of poisoning, according to the Wall Street Journal. The information was also confirmed by the investigative website Bellingcat, according to which the symptoms indicate the use of chemical weapons.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Roman Abramovich, who was supposed to mediate the negotiations, and two members of the Ukrainian team, including MP Rustem Umerov, had symptoms such as redness of the eyes, painful tearing and peeling of the skin on the hands and face after meeting.
All of them survived and recovered. Victims are reportedly accusing Kremlin officials opposed to the talks of poisoning.
Bellingcat reported that this happened after the March 3-4 meetings and the symptoms point to the use of chemical weapons.
