“At present, our draft document has been handed over to the Ukrainian side, which includes absolutely clear, elaborated formulations. The ball is on their side, we are waiting for an answer,” Peskov said when asked to comment on the course of the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
When asked if there were any specific deadlines for Kyiv’s reaction, Peskov said: “It depends on the Ukrainian side.” “But I repeat once again, and we have repeatedly said this, that the dynamics of work on the Ukrainian side leaves much to be desired, the Ukrainians do not show a great inclination to intensify the negotiation process,” the presidential press secretary said.
