According to the Ukrayinska Pravda website, in occupied Berdyansk in southern Ukraine, the occupying forces announce the distribution of Russian passports and the cancellation of debts on promissory notes. In the region, the media can hear the Russian anthem and propaganda messages.
“In Berdyansk, they say on the radio that in two days the residents will be able to get Russian passports, and the occupiers also announce the cancellation of debts for utilities,” the service reports, citing one of the residents of the city. As we read further, the Russian anthem is played on the radio, and campaign content is also given.
On the other hand, in the occupied Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, the Russians are announcing the beginning of the sowing campaign on the radio and saying that farmers will have access to the Russian market.
The head of the Zaporizhia regional government, Alexander Staruk, emphasizes that journalists in Berdyansk are forced to conduct Russian propaganda on the radio at gunpoint. According to him, in Melitpol, the Russians organized a display of humanitarian aid; the event was televised.
War in Ukraine
Another day of Russian invasion continues. The largest cities of Ukraine were not captured by the occupiers, and the national army repels enemy attacks. However, the occupiers are trying with all their might to suppress the morale of the Ukrainians, bombing civilian houses and disconnecting settlements from electricity, water and food.
On February 28, the Russians occupied Berdyansk on the Sea of Azov. Pro-Ukrainian demonstrations are taking place in the city.
