Russian and Ukrainian tourists currently in Egypt do not come into conflict. Friendly relations are observed between them, according to RIA, the head of the trade union of guides in the Red Sea province, Bashar Abu Taleb.
The Egyptian said that vacationers from both countries behave respectfully towards each other and towards the host country. Moreover, Abu Taleb called relations between Russians and Ukrainians in Egypt fraternal. At the same time, a representative of the trade union of guides said that his country has no plans to transport Ukrainians who cannot yet return home to one specific hotel.
About 6 thousand Ukrainian tourists cannot get out of Egypt. Currently, the airspace over Ukraine is closed to civil aviation due to the war with Russia that began on February 24.
Earlier it became known that the Egyptian government agreed on a free extension of stay in hotels for guests from Ukraine, Russia and other countries who are forced to stay on vacation due to restrictions.
