Those responsible for war crimes in Ukraine will be brought to justice, the G7 warned, condemning “indiscriminate attacks on civilians” by Russian troops since the invasion began on February 24.
“As a result of the unprovoked and shameful war of President (Vladimir Putin), millions of people have been forced to flee their homes, infrastructure, hospitals, theaters and schools continue to be destroyed,” the G7 foreign ministers said in a statement.
“Persons guilty of war crimes, including the indiscriminate use of weapons against civilians, will be brought to justice,” they warned.
