It is not necessary to be vaccinated to enter the country.
Belgium has opened its borders to all travelers from Ukraine, regardless of the purpose of the trip. This was announced by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, when crossing the border you need to have:
- valid biometric passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad. It is important that the validity of the document must exceed the date of the planned departure from Belgium by 6 months;
- documentary confirmation of the purpose of the trip (card of a resident of the European Union or a residence permit,
- hotel reservation, invitation of a business partner);
confirmation of financial capacity; - health insurance policy, which is recognized in the territory of the European Union.
In addition, all persons over the age of 12 must complete the Passenger Locator Form (PLF). This must be done 48 hours before arrival in Belgium. Information about children under 12 years of age is entered in the PLF form of parents or authorized accompanying persons.
Ukrainians are also recommended to check the type of existing COVID-certificate. Belgium recognizes three types:
- Certificate of complete vaccination. A person is considered fully vaccinated when the period of 14 days from the date of the last vaccination has expired;
- Certificate of recovery confirming that the person has relapsed COVID and no longer needs to be quarantined.
- There must be a positive test for COVID, the date of issue of which does not exceed 180 days from the date of testing;
- Negative PCR test.
