Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, about 400 civilians have been buried in the city of Severodonetsk, where the Russian army is currently advancing, said Luhansk Oblast Governor Serhiy Haidai, quoted by BTA.
“During the 48 days of the war, there were about 400 funerals,” he told the Telegram, without specifying the cause of death.
Morgues in the region’s cities are “clogged with the bodies of dead civilians,” he added, adding that mass graves had been excavated in the neighboring town of Lysychansk in Severodonetsk.
