To date, the United States has provided more than 1,400 Stinger anti-aircraft guns and 12,000 anti-tank weapons to Ukraine, according to the Pentagon. US military aid to Kiev since the beginning of the Russian invasion has amounted to 1 billion 700 million US dollars.
The U.S. Department of Defense said it is working 24 hours a day to meet Ukraine’s requests for security assistance by providing weapons from U.S. stockpiles and facilitating the delivery of weapons to allies when their systems better serve Ukraine’s needs.

The list released by the Pentagon shows that the US has provided Ukraine with 5,000 Javelin launchers and 7,000 other anti-tank systems. In addition to 1,400 Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems, Ukraine also received hundreds of Switchblade and Puma drones, armored vehicles, radar-guided drones and artillery systems, laser-guided missile systems, more than 50 million rounds of ammunition and 45,000 sets of body armor. In addition, there are night vision devices, communication systems, satellite services and medical supplies.
Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin also said that the United States is providing Ukraine with up-to-date intelligence information about the actions of Russian troops in the Donbas. On March 7, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba called on NATO countries to quickly rearm in order to prepare Ukraine for a Russian attack on Donbass. According to the latest reports, the Russians are planning a major offensive to occupy the entire region.
NATO countries will increase support for Ukraine. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg after the second day of a two-day meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, dedicated to Russia’s attack on Ukraine. The head of NATO also recalled that the North Atlantic Alliance supplies Ukraine with a wide range of weapons systems.
