Doctors have named 4 symptoms of omicron, which people usually ignore

Omicron has been circulating in Ukraine for more than a month, and most infected people have noted the similarity of the new disease to the common cold. Experts from the National Health Service have identified four symptoms of “omicron” that people usually do not pay attention to.

According to the organization, if the main symptoms of Covid are constant cough, loss of taste / smell and fever, then people who have picked up the omicron strain suffer from a wide range of symptoms.

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the most commonly reported symptoms were cough, fatigue, and headache. They differ from the three main signs of coronavirus infection outlined by the NHS, which have not changed since Covid covered our country.

A number of studies have shown that Omicron is milder than other strains, with the first official report from the UK showing that the risk of hospitalization is 50-70% lower than in Delta. According to experts, there are some symptoms that can be missed or perceived as a manifestation of something else.

Fatigue

Earlier, one expert said that it may be difficult to determine whether fatigue is associated with Covid-19, as people can sometimes attribute this symptom to other life factors. Studies have shown that fatigue is present in 62 percent of Covid cases.

Infectious disease doctor Sachin Nagrani said that fatigue is defined as an extreme measure of fatigue that results from mental or physical exertion or illness. “It can be an acute symptom and an early marker of COVID-19 infection, but it can easily be caused by another cause. It is also important to remember that in many cases Covid-19 has no symptoms at all, and this is one of the reasons why it continues to spread so easily, “said the expert.

Loss of appetite

The organization’s study previously compared symptoms reported by people who tested positive for Delta or Omicron, and found that many did not want to eat. Experts commented: “Participants’ reports also found loss of appetite and brain fog as common symptoms. These results are consistent with a small amount of data from participants who reported that their positive PCR results were suspected or confirmed by micron infections.

The analysis did not reveal clear differences between Delta and Omicron when it came to a typical infection.

Feelings of pain

He also explained that the constant feeling of fatigue can also cause painful sensations. Body aches and muscle aches have also been reported by the organization as signs of Covid. Thus, the body is constantly trying to fight the virus.

Nausea

The ONS stated that the least common symptoms recorded were abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting.

Experts, however, said that although nausea or vomiting may not be key signs of kovid, they may be accompanied by other symptoms. Thus, research has shown that people with Covid-19 can sometimes experience gastrointestinal symptoms.

In a paper published in the Journal of Microbiology, Immunology and Infection, experts found that nausea and vomiting were the two most common symptoms that accompanied other key Covid symptoms, such as a sore throat or loss of taste and smell. The study suggested that problems such as diarrhea, nausea and vomiting could be caused by Covid infection. The reason why people get sick is related to the body’s inflammatory response to a viral infection.

Earlier, the DIP wrote that “Doctors called the earliest symptom of Omicron.”
