Dietitian Angelika Duvall pointed out that in case of coronavirus infection, the use of black tea and coffee drinks should be limited, preferring plain water. According to the doctor, it is also good to give up soda and packaged juices. In an interview, Duvall shared several recipes for alternative drinks:
“Boil two tablespoons of high-quality weak green tea in one and a half liters of water. Cut two slices of orange, add one or two tablespoons of cranberries. I do not recommend sweetening, it is better to cut an apple without a peel. Leave this drink to brew for about 40-50 minutes and drink throughout the day. You can add hot water, but not boiling water to drink a hot drink.
The nutritionist noted that such juices can be prepared from sea buckthorn and cranberries.
“You can use berries such as blueberries and sea buckthorn. Put washed berries in two liters of water – about 200 g. To make it sweet, I advise you to add strawberries or blueberries. You can then use a blender to get a healthy, lively fruit drink. It is not necessary to specifically boil water to preserve the maximum amount of vitamins.
Duvall believes that such drinks can be part of rehabilitation therapy after coronavirus.
Earlier, the DIP wrote that “doctors have named two hidden symptoms of Omicron, which are detected before a positive test.”
