Israel cancels the mask regime in enclosed spaces

The mask regime in Israel will be canceled from Saturday, April 23. This was stated by Israeli Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz.

This measure was introduced in Israel, as in other countries, more than two years ago, due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The decision to lift the mandatory wearing of protective masks indoors in Israel comes into force from 20:00 on April 23, after approval by the Knesset Health Commission.

Masks will still have to be worn in places with an increased risk of infection, including hospitals, geriatric medical facilities, and airplanes. In addition, people going into quarantine will be required to wear masks.
