A four-star hotel in the resort town of Bodrum in Turkey was sealed by sanitary authorities for dumping feces into the Aegean Sea. Due to the review of the environmental certificate, the hotel can no longer continue its work – tourists were put on the street with their suitcases.
According to the information from the Turkish tourist media, it is about the 4-star hotel Mio Bianco, located in the resort area of Akyarlar. On the afternoon of September 9, members of the Gendarmerie and the Bodrum Police Department went to the hotel to check. As a result, law enforcement officers discovered inconsistencies in the environmental reports on wastewater provided by the hotel administration.
As gendarmerie officers took security measures nearby, the police stamped the numbers one by one. As a result, travelers staying at the hotel were left on the street with their suitcases in their hands. Their vacation at this hotel ended prematurely. In a few hours, with the efforts of tour operators, vacationers began to be transported to other hotels.
