A new unusual hotel has appeared in Wales. It is located at a depth of 419 meters. To get to the rooms, guests need to walk 45 minutes through the mountains and go down into the mine.
The owners of Deep Sleep warn that the temperature of the mine is 10 degrees. But the rooms are insulated, so guests should feel comfortable.
The hotel is open one day a week – on Saturdays. Five rooms are available: four wooden houses and an underground grotto. All have basic amenities, a toilet, water and electricity, and Wi-Fi. They offer breakfast and dinner. On average, a room costs from 640 to 700 euros per night.
