According to the DHA agency, in Istanbul, there was a fire in the fashionable hotel Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul 5 *, located in the Ciragan Palace on the banks of the Bosphorus.
It is reported that several guests were rescued from the building engulfed in fire, and one was taken to the hospital with poisoning from combustion products.
The fire broke out around 11:00 am on the fourth floor of a hotel in the Besiktas area. Black smoke from the fire was visible hundreds of meters from the palace.
According to the preliminary version, the cause of the fire was repair work in one of the rooms.
More than 10 fire engines arrived at the scene urgently, and now the fire has been controlled. The amount of damage caused to the historic building is not yet known.
