The winner of the Cannes Film Festival will be announced tonight. A total of 60 works were shown in various programs, 24 of which are vying for the main prize “Golden Palm Branch”, reports BNT.
Among the contenders for the prestigious award are films by directors Sean Penn and Wes Anderson, as well as a film by Russian Igor Serebrennikov, who is forbidden to leave his homeland.
There was also a Bulgarian participation in the festival – the film “Women really cry” by Mina Mileva and Vesela Kazakova, shown in the program “Special Look”, which is included in the competition.
