France has seized assets worth more than 20 billion British pounds, including a villa on the French Riviera and 11 other properties owned by Roman Abramovich, reports France 24 News.
The Channel Islands also froze £5bn of its assets, writes Theme Sports.
In 2018, Abramovich was already named the richest resident of the islands.
