“Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has said that his country could approve talks between Ukraine and Russia,” the BBC reports.
“Bulgarian media quoted President Radev as saying that Bulgaria can legitimately claim a place for such negotiations, but this should be done in coordination with the European Union.”
Radev added: “We are members of the EU, and we must strive for a single European solution, a single European approach,” – writes the BBC.

On Friday, Britain’s Secretary of State for Europe and North America James Cleverley visited Bulgaria to discuss the crisis in Ukraine with his counterparts, saying Britain and Bulgaria, as NATO allies, oppose Russia’s “unprovoked attack” on Ukraine.
Cleverley added that Bulgaria was “one of the first countries to close its skies to Russian planes,” according to the BBC.
