An 81-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured after a car driven by a 98-year-old driver knocked him down on a footpath near the Croatian town of Labin in the Istrian region, Hina reported, citing local police.
The accident occurred shortly before 09:00 am after a 98-year-old driver did not stop on the sidewalk and knocked down an 81-year-old pedestrian.

The injured man was taken to a hospital in Pula, where he remained for treatment.
The driver is accused of committing a traffic accident.
The police clarified that the rights of the 98-year-old driver are valid.
