Travel regime for citizens of Ukraine

Entry mode: Visa-free (up to 30 days for two months).

If you need to stay longer, or study / employment – for this issue a short-term or long-term visa. The application is submitted to the Embassy of BiH in Hungary (in Ukraine part-time), or to any other foreign diplomatic mission of BiH (subject to prior agreement with this institution).

BiH legislation does not provide for the issuance of a Bosnian-Herzegovinian visa in the country.

In accordance with the established international practice and the legislation of BiH, when entering a country at border checkpoints a foreigner’s authorized bodies may check the availability of an invitation, international health and life insurance policy, as well as confirmation of financial security for stay in the country at 150 KM per day for each traveler.

Except for hotel stays, if the planned period of stay in BiH is more than three days – foreigners must register their place of residence / stay with local police or foreigners’ offices within 48 hours of crossing the BiH border. Failure to comply with this requirement will be considered an administrative offense.
