A ranking of the “most desirable” countries in the world has been compiled

Wanderlust has summed up the results of the Reader Travel Awards. This year, Australia turned out to be the “most desirable” country in the world.

Over the past three years, Australia has twice topped the prestigious list thanks to the availability of both classic holidays on the beaches of Sydney and more exotic trips to the Kangaroo Islands and Tasmania.

The top ten looks like this:

1. Australia;
2. Japan;
3. USA;
4. Canada;
5. Costa Rica;
6. South Korea;
7. South Africa;
8. Brazil;
9. New Zealand;
10. Chile.
