The United Arab Emirates has introduced a five-year multi-entry tourist visa for families with children under 18, Emarat Al Youm reports.
According to the UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP), no sponsorship is required to obtain a visa.
The Federal Office said that the multiple-entry visa is issued to citizens of all countries without the sponsor’s guarantee, allows you to stay in the country for 90 consecutive days, and can be extended once for the same period.
“When extending, the period of stay should not exceed 180 consecutive days per year. The tourist must enter the country within 60 days from the date of issue of the entry permit to avoid its cancellation,” the message says.
Children (under 18 years of age) are considered to be accompanying the recipient of the service, while those over 18 years of age must apply for themselves.
The cost of the financial guarantee for a tourist visa is AED 3025 and the total fee is AED 750 including health insurance.
What you need to get a visa:
- bank statement – it must be presented in the form of an official document (with a seal and a colored stamp) from the bank – for the last 6 months with a balance of 4 thousand dollars;
- medical insurance. It must be issued in the UAE and its duration must be 180 days.
The visa is considered invalid if the client violates the period specified for the stay in the country.
