On October 4, Cyprus changed the composition of the package of documents for applying for a national visa.
So, two points were added to the new requirements. Firstly, applicants need to provide copies of visas issued by Cyprus, Schengen countries, or Bulgaria, Romania, and Croatia within the last three years. This item did not exist before.
And secondly, in addition to a certificate of employment (with information about salary, term of employment, and position), you should present another confirmation of the availability of funds – for example, an extract from a bank account or debit card with the movement of funds for the last three months, or confirmation of sponsorship.
Previously, it was possible to submit either a certificate of employment, or an extract, or confirmation of sponsorship.
