Wired journalists learned that Mark Zuckerberg is building a giant mansion in Hawaii, which, among other things, will have an autonomous bunker with an area of 1.5 thousand square meters, allowing it to survive almost any cataclysm.
According to the publication, the construction of a residential complex called Koolau Ranch will cost Zuckerberg about $270 million. It will feature more than 30 bedrooms and 30 bathrooms, and a network of nearly a dozen tree houses connected by rope bridges so guests can move between them while “staying among the treetops.” Sounds luxurious? But that’s not all.
The residential complex consists of two mansions, which will be connected by a tunnel with an underground bunker. In addition to the emergency hatch, it will have massive doors filled with concrete and its own energy, food, and water supplies. In such a bunker, Zuckerberg and his family will be able to survive a full-fledged apocalypse and live for many decades without denying themselves anything.
