A private investigator and former FBI agent concluded that Jamie Spears recorded his daughter Britney Spears while she was in her bedroom.
Britney’s lawyer Matthew Rosengart filed a lawsuit along with Sherin Ebadi, alleging that a former US Federal Bureau agent confirmed that Jamie instructed the Black Box security agency to place secret recording devices in his daughter’s bedroom.
Ebadi, who is currently Krool Associates’ deputy managing director for forensic investigations and intelligence practice appointed by Britney’s attorneys, said she made her conclusion based on an interview with Alex Vlasov, a former Black Box Security employee. He is also the person who first made the revelation in the New York Times last year.
At the time, Jamie’s lawyers answered the newspaper’s exact questions by saying that all of their client’s actions were within his authority, which he received at the disposal of Britney and her property. “His actions were committed with the knowledge and consent of Britney, her lawyer and/or the court,” the lawyers added.
In recent documents filed by Matthew Rosengart, Ebadi explained that she herself interrogated Vlasov at the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles. She was concerned about allegations of violating Britney’s privacy. “I confirmed what was said in the Times report about the extensive surveillance efforts on Mr. Spears, including communication between Mrs. Spears and her lawyer and private conversations in her bedroom,” she said, adding that Vlasov is a very reliable source.
