The World Exhibition “EXPO 2020”, which starts in Dubai on October 1, 2021, announced a cultural program. As you know, within the framework of the exhibition it is planned to hold more than 60 live events a day, including film screenings and musicals.
The first stage will be equipped in the Jubilee Park – on Mondays movies will be shown here: from vintage and famous to novelties and debutants of film festivals. Children’s films will be broadcast at 17:00, and adults at 20:00.
On Thursdays and Fridays, from 22:30, musicians from all over the world will perform at the EXPO 2020 venue. Their task is to break down barriers between musical styles, generations and cultures. In particular, guests will enjoy the Expo House Band, known for its ability to mix different music genres.
The Jubilee Park will also host monthly Expo Beats festivals dedicated to world music, dance and culture. They will acquaint the guests of the exhibition with the unique cultures and traditions of different peoples.

Another place for large-scale performances is the amphitheater in Al Forsan Park: there are concerts, ballet, opera and screenings of popular films. In addition, a musical with the participation of the characters of “EXPO 2020”: Rashid and Latif, as well as robots Alif, Opti and Terry is planned to be shown. Their mission is to save the planet, which is what they will do every day before sunset.
The highlight of the world exhibition will be the Parade of Flowers of the World – it will be attended by representatives of more than 190 countries: they will present the achievements of their culture and various arts. Three more stages – Earth, Sea and Sun (Plaza, Earth Plaza, Sea Plaza, Sun Plaza) – will be equipped in the neighborhoods of stability, mobility and opportunity. They will tell interesting facts about the environment.
“EXPO 2020” will be a platform for the exchange of knowledge and technologies that will be used, including to combat the pandemic. Currently, the construction of part of the pavilions is being completed on the site, the others are ready.
The exhibition will feature artificial intelligence and augmented reality technologies. Innovations will transport participants and visitors to a new world with breathable trees, drones and robots, as well as mobile devices of the future.
Visitors will be able to walk through the rainforests of Brazil, enjoy the rain in the Netherlands, admire the blue skies of Australia, explore the coral reefs of the UAE and even get acquainted with the indigenous tribes of New Zealand.
