An unknown woman attacked passengers in a subway car with a knife. As a result of the incident, four people were injured, Livedoor reports.
The incident occurred on January 3 at the Akihabara subway station. Police said four people ranging in age from 20 to 60 were injured.
The aggressive woman was detained. She was taken to the police to clarify the circumstances of the attack on people.
This is not the first attack on the Tokyo subway. In 2021, during Halloween celebrations, a man with a knife dressed as the Joker attacked people and injured 17 people. He told the police that he “wanted to kill people in order to be sentenced to death.”
