The Turkish press told about the air brawl in which “everything got mixed up”. On board, the British airline EasyJet, which was flying from Manchester to Turkey, two brawlers, and they turned out to be two drunk Russian tourists, attacked the English flight attendants. As a result, the plane was forced to land in Thessaloniki to Greece.
According to the media, two men aged 48 and 39 caused such a scandal on board an early morning flight that the plane was forced to make an emergency landing. At the same time, “there was no threat of attack”, the flight attendants explained, but the two men “verbally and physically” insulted the flight attendants and other passengers. The cause of the brawl is most likely an excessive amount of alcohol — sources assure that “empty alcohol bottles were found under the passenger seats.”
As a result, at 1:50 a.m., the airliner made an emergency landing at the airport of Thessaloniki. The Russians were grounded — they were accused of violating public order, disrupting the schedule, disobeying the crew’s instructions, as well as creating a threat to flight safety.
Rioters were detained by the Greek police. At the same time, the situation is complicated by the fact that the rioters do not have a Schengen visa, and they do not have the right to stay on the territory of Greece. At the same time, the court regarding brawlers is scheduled for November. The liner, from which the Russian was taken, flew to Dalaman.
