The official media of the country frightened the residents of Turkey and tourists with a wave of cold. Referring to meteorologists, they note that a wave of cold has hit Turkey since the beginning of the week, and heavy snowfall is expected in Istanbul at the end of the week.
“The wave of cold from Central Europe will begin on January 19 in all parts of the country except the western coast,” said well-known meteorologist Orhan Shen. He warned locals and tourists that snowfalls and extreme cold are expected in the country from January 22. So, for the coming weekend, the expert predicts heavy snowfall in the country for three or four days, including in Istanbul.
Turkey’s state meteorological service has also warned of wet snow in the east and frost in some Black Sea provinces.
No snowfalls are expected in Antalya, but the weather is not very conducive to promenades along the sea. The average temperature during the week will not rise above 10 degrees, with the exception of Saturday, when they promise + 13 ° C.
Until Thursday, tourists will have more or less clear weather, but from Friday the “cold wave” will bring rain, sometimes strong, as well as stormy winds.
Next week also promises to be cold – no more than +9 degrees – and mostly cloudy. Then you can calculate the relative warming.
