Trump appoints tourism advisor to launch the “Golden age of travel”

A key figure for tourism has emerged in the team of the newly elected U.S. president. Donald Trump has appointed former Congressman Sean Duffy as a tourism advisor to kick off the “Golden Age of Travel.” According to American media reports, his main task is to “restore American infrastructure and usher in an era of travel focused on safety and efficiency.”

“Duffy will prioritize excellence, competence, competitiveness, and aesthetics as we rebuild America’s highways, tunnels, bridges, and airports. This will ensure that our ports and dams serve our economy without compromising national security and make our skies safe again by eliminating ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ for pilots and air traffic controllers,” the new president was quoted as saying by the American press.

Donald Trump also added that the newly appointed Sean Duffy, a father of nine, “understands how important safe travel is for families.” Furthermore, he noted that in this role, Duffy “will leverage his experience and connections in Congress to launch the ‘Golden Age of Travel’ and radically improve the quality of travel for Americans.”
